Sport for Mental Health Campaign

Fairtrade Campaigning in London

Fairtrade assist poor farmers/producers around the world. The reduction of poverty and ensuring a fair wage for producers, two of the major goals of the movement, has had profound effects already on individual farmers and their families.

The Fairtrade movement has gained great momentum in the past decade, through individuals who become involved in activist groups, online shopping, retail outlet purchases and meetings that promote the ethos of the movement.

Africa Sport promote Fairtrade through sport clinics in the United Kingdom throughout the year.

Africa Sport International have been involved with the Fairtrade movement quite extensively, by serving as a member of the Enfield Fairtrade Campaign, Enfield Fairtrade Activist group and offering talks to schools and setting up craft stalls in order to promote and raise funds for rural people.

We will keep you posted on our involvement, but in the meantime, if you would like to assist us in any way, feel free to contact us on info@africareactuk.org.
